I don't see a question, rhetorical or otherwise. I think you're saying things are not as black and white as the media likes to portray, shocking stuff.

Harry Redknapp has said that some of his players weren't pulling their weight or putting in a "shift" to maintain Premiership status. Yet these players, who got the club in this predicament want away so they can keep their bank balances up to scratch. Stan Colleymore touched on this yesterday on TalkSport.
I was using Mata and RVP as good examples - a refreshing change to Gnasher Suarez and the divers that gives imports a bad name. Yes I think there is a good comparison with Zola and Mata, as a MATA of fact.

I saw a football TV programme on Mata the other day, that football trick he does is quality! Looked like a good guy too.

Seem to remember that Ipswich Town signed Arnold Muhren and Thijssen by the great Bobby Robson in the late 70s. Good PR for the English league.
This is the one I think:
I remember back in the late 90s or early 2000s my Brother's friend who's eldest was a Chelsea junior. They used to train at Chelsea and on a number occasions some of the Chelsea first team players, usually the Italian players (Zola, Di Matteo, Vialli...) were the only ones to stay behind and give up their time to coach the children.
Also when Ranieri became manager Zola used to act as his interpreter.
Chelsea have a bad name but when you hear stuff like this it changes one's view.
Hey PP, have you heard who your new assistant might be:
Steve keane - yeah I know. Not overjoyed but if it is true then Jose knows what he wants, and it'll probably be a token jesture. Most of his backroom staff are Portugese so a Englishman in the coaching set-up should be enough to quieten the sceptics.
It seems pretty odd, but it is the mirror image of how Mourinho started out coaching life, as 'the interpreter'.
Chelsea player just seem to run out of steam. Mrs. P wanted to watch 'Coast' so I was relegated to the BBC football website. Avoid defeat in their next two games and they've qualified.
I think I'd run out of steam after 66 games in a season! I'd expect you to beat villa and qualify, spurs are going to miss out again. And arsenal ARE going to beat Wigan and Newcastle
Suarez hasn't dived since he was quite rightly critisised for it earlier in the season, and that's to his credit.
And your "Gnasher" remark is is a little xenophobic, as I don't think you'd describe Jermaine Defoe in the same way, so why the irrational media-inspired remark?
I'm not knocking Mata, as I think he's a fantastic player, and by all accounts, is a decent guy. BUT, he quite blatantly dived against Liverpool in the recent game to get Lucas ( I think) booked.
RVP is also less than innocent when it comes to on, and off the field incidents, so maybe you should check yout FACTS!!! before commenting.

That wasn't xenophobic remark - a FACT! He bit a Chelsea player on the arm, as he did a few years ago in the Dutch league. Talking of Xenophobia, then perhaps Evra would know about that.
Defoe bit off far more than he could chew.
No player, regardless of team, is totally innocent. Rather a quiet spoken player than a nutter, who seems to make up his own on-field laws.
Shanks would have sold Suarez ages ago.... he's an embarrassement to the Club.
(Embarrassment is an emotional state of temporary discomfort induced by oneself when believing that a silly, or ill mannered act has been witnessed by others.)
For a grown man to behave the way he does is weird in the extreme.

I'd think too that Arsenal would beat Wigan (who I have a wee soft spot for) and Newcastle).
