Advice on Wireless PC
Are there any real benefits to goin wireless on my desk top, apart from removing the obvious plate of spaghetti?
Sometime back I had trouble accessing (it still occasionally haunts me) the internet. The TalkTalk engineer said that we a minor wiring blip somewhere within the house and advised us to go wireless. Is this true or is it money for old rope?
I'm using conventional connections of the PC and modem into a 240v extension lead. It's weird because the switch to the shower in our power box outside the house turns itself off.
Can't see how wireless is going to improve things then - if it's the router losing power causing an outage, then that's still going to happen with a wireless router...
Unless having it wired into the router is an inconvenience in terms of trailing wires or where you have to put the router, I'd stick with wired.
Thanks, gentlemen.

Are you currently using Powerline adaptors or some such? Just wondering where the wiring blip in the house comes into it.
