Re: a very sad story

It's true. A large majority of us take for granted that we will be here in our 3 bed house with our 2.4 kids for our three-score-and-ten, and we tend to put things off that "we can do another time".

There's a lot to be said for living your life as though each day is your last. You just never know if it won't be.

To that end, I'm going to stop writing on here when I should be working from home, and take my daughter sledging whilst the snow is still here...

Never a truer word said ,, I have been there to,, lost my youngest son and first grandaughter 6 years ago , I treasure each day I wake now allways early ,, allways before the alarm ,, its a s if I have a built in timer telling me now to go out and make the best of what I have left , it makes me cringe sometimes when on a daily basis you come across the hurry up squadron with all their get outta my way I,m in a hurry aggression ,,,,, totally missing the purpose of their lives ,, most of it driven by crazy consumerism

You will treasure those sledging days with your daughter in years to come for sure ,, far more than any cheap thrill you could buy ,, I have so many  priceless memories  of the various escapades with my youngest , one good thing he was a bit of an artist like his dad so I can admire his artwork he left behind.

I just hope the family left behind in Waterford can someday make some sense out of what has been cast upon them RIP
