A penguin is suffering mid-week blues
It' been a horrible week. On Monday night someone, outside our bungalow, smashed into the back of my fiancee's car.
This morning the dealership tells me that the contract people won't finance it, she's a wheelchair user.
Last night I went shopping and took my car, Alfa Romeo, and the bottom of the dasboard dislodged itself - tangling around my foot. Anyway the Alfa dealer says the parts won't be in till Tuesday earliest.
Things get worse. My gov is having a 2 week break in South Africa, so he employed his friend to cover his work - Monday PM his friend rings me to inform me that he'll be in only two days this week. He's preparing for a job interview. . .rotten timing.
This leaves me to try and re-schedule all the work over to next week.
I feel lower than a snakes. . . . No sympathy please, I would like to return to the real world.
I suppose I could chew on myself (penguins). . . .Oh well.
if I could do that, I wouldn't leave the house.

I used to get the work blues on a Sunday night. . .just prior to switching out the bedroom light (no grubby innuendo, please).

Hard not to get it in some form or other nowadays. I`m thinking of not watching the news or reading a newspaper for a couple of weeks to give myself a break from it all. Shall read the sports page of course to see how Portugal are getting on for me in the Eurosweep.

I dunno, watching bonking Boris stammering his way thru an interview gives you a degree of self-belief.
