Streaming music with an airport express?
Hello everyone, i'm new to the hifi world and when i say new i mean really new! Now i listen to music only with my macbook speakers 
I'd like to buy a turntable to listen to some vinyls and i was wondering if i can connect it via wifi to a pair of speakers (wich of course i don't have), and use them with my macbook too. I got an airport express.

Now i don't have anything in mynd because i don't know almost anything about this world. I'm just a student so i don't want to spend thousand of euros, if it costs too much i think i'll pass. 
You should be able to get and amp and some speakers for less than €500 if you shop around. Is that acceptable? You won't regret it when comparing the sound to the macook's inbuilt speakers!

This thread is fine.You would wire the airport express into the amp and stream form your macbook to the airport.

You will also need to buy an amplifier to power the speakers. What kind of budget did you have in mind?
