Fiio L3 with iPod Classic in case

I've just invested in a pair of Goldring NS1000 headphones to go with my trusty 160GB iPod Classic.

I'm now considering adding the Fiio E5 amp and Fiio L3 LOD, but just wondered if I'll get a tight fit between the iPod and the LOD if the iPod is in its case?

I've got a hard clear case for the iPod, so there's no give in it at all.
