I am after a quality lead to plug my ipod nano into the USB socket in my car. The lead required is the standard lead the ipod comes with to plug it into your computer to 'sync' it. Does anyone know where I can get a higher quality lead than the standard apple one or £3.99 jobbies on ebay.

Cheers

Nigel

Are you sure it's a USB socket in your car? Seems unusual - what car is it?

It is a new 2008 Focus ST. It is definitely a USB socket as it allows control of the ipod from the touch screen in the dash.

Aha. Gotta get me one of those. In which case, no, it's unlikely that you'll find an 'audiophile' version - stick with the USB cable that comes with the nano.

Strange really seeing as the iPod is analogue output only (without a Wadia transport)
