I have a Sennheiser CX300 for my iPod and am happy with the sound, but I just can't get a good fit in my right ear.

I'm thinking of plumping up for the Shure SE110. Am I making a mistake as far as sound quality goes?

WH gave it 5 stars. But are they really any good?

Had them for a while before accidentally leaving them on a plane (doh!). I thought they were very good - some people complain of lack of bass but can only assume they were comparing them with over ear headphones rather than in-ear jobs.

Try these - I upgraded from the Sennheisers and they are in a different league. I found that the bass with the Sennheisers was non existent. With these it is superb:

We don't give five stars at random, you know! The Shures are excellent value and a clear step up from (the also superb-for-the-money) Sennheisers.

And if our word isn't enough, they've also won awards from Stuff, CNET, Macworld, PC Pro, Computer Shopper and Hi-fi Choice....

Yes, Stonehound, the Ultimate Ears are great - but hardly in the same price league as the Shure SE110s, that you can buy for under £50!
