Remove scratches - Gen. 3 iPod

 Hello everyone

I have a rather common question, I am sure, about the iPod: Since its purchase in late 2003, my iPod has developed many fine surface scratches on both fron and steel backing. I've tried various recommendations, including polishing it with Brasso (brass cleaner). None have actually done the trick.

Can anyone suggest a method which truly works? This would be greatly appreciated.
