iPod Touch Dock

There's an adapter which means you can use it with any universal dock which meets the other criteria.

Cheers John, got one of them already so guess I just need to find any old dock that'll do what I want. Any one got one already they recommend and save me some time looking?!

I had the Onkyo which was great, though I think only s-video out. Let me check.

Edit - the Meridian one does it (and upscales via hdmi!!!!) - at a price. And the Onk was composite only, I just checked. Bu tthen you don't exactly need stellar video out do you? Unless you propose watching videos from it.

Thanks again mate. Meridian looks good, but a little over the top really considering it's iPod video - as you say, composite would be fine. The Onkyo looks good but I'm just concerned it doesn't list the Touch as being compatible. I know you have to buy a new cable for the Touch compared with older iPods to get the video working so am concerned this may go for docks as well.

Go to the genius bar at the Apple Store, they're brilliant. Or take the adapter to an Onkyo dealer and see if you can get it to work!

Genius bar? Is that in every store? Tend to order everything online these days so haven't been to an Apple store for goodness knows how long!
