i recently bought an ipod touch , but because its only 8gb, i need to know how to take out stuff from the ipod touch, but not totally erase from my library, so i can always sync back to my ipod if i want. sorry, not an expert on these matters.

Set up a new playlist and only put tunes you want on the iPod in there. Then set the iPod to sync with this playlist.

cheers mate. also i have an 80 gb ipod. is it possible to run 80gb ipod and ipod touch on same computer together, or can i only have one?

Pretty sure you can have both. I have no problems running my Touch and Shuffle together.

You should have no problem.  I have a 40gb, 80gb classic an 8gb nano and my wife's 6gb, when I connect each one to my computer, it accepts each one as my ipod, then I can download or delate from either one. Hope this helps.
