'Hiss' on vocals?
I've recently upgraded my iPod dock to a Bowers and Wilkins Zeppelin Mini and have been absolutely blown away by the sound quality. At the same time, I took the really useful advice from this forum and upgraded my tracks to Apple Lossless.
However, although it's no problem on quieter or orchestral tracks, on some of the louder songs, there's a slight 'hiss' or 'edge' on vocals when there's an 'ess' sound and I'm really not sure how to get rid of it! Should I adjust my iPod's EQ or use the 'Sound Check' function to lessen the overall volume, or should I be looking at something else?
Many thanks in advance.
