FLAC on iPhone4

Is anyway to play FLAC files over UPnP server on iphone? Ive got loads of SACD / FLAC files on my Synology DS210J NAS but wont play on iphone4

 Ive got ability on the Synology to transcode FLAC files but when selected they still dont show up on media server

I can play mine from my HP Data Vault via the PlugPlayer app, which I either listen to on headphones, or via bluetooth on my Marantz receiver. It was very easy to set up, but if you start using your phone to do anything else it tends to make the sound drop out for a second or two.

I'm interested in your SACD files. Can you rip SACDs? Didn't think it was possible.

I have ripped quite a few SACDs but they were all hybrid SACDs of which the CD layer can be ripped.

If you need to do batch conversions from FLAC lossless to Apple Lossless on a Mac you can use Max. http://sbooth.org/Max/

It will keep all metadata.
