I am looking for some nice new earphones to go with my new Nano. Looking at Beyerdynamics and Shure SE115 - similar prices. Which is best? I currently have Sennheisser CX300 which I think are good but when I run the cord creates a drumming sound as it is a sort of rubberised finish - I want some earphones where this isn't an issue. Also needs to block outside noise (which the Sennheisers do very effectively and no outside bleed of noise as I don't want to upset fellow commuters (there is one old cow who gets on the train in the morning who often has a go at poor unsuspecting passengers who have their music too loud - doesn't do to get on the wrong side of her!) - Any suggestions

I know exactly what you are meaning regarding running with the CX300s. Try looping the cable loosley around your neck (seriously). It stops the majority of the cable from bouncing around. Alternatively place the cable under some of your clothing and out at the neck. It works for me when I am running.

Try running the cables over your ears, thus.
