Ok if you can keep it simple please (although i have a rough idea whats going on).
A friend of mine has some realy old ' learn french ' lessons which he has copied ,originaly from reel to reel via casette and now on cd. He was having trouble getting them from his pc to his ipod so came over for me to do it (he is 71and thought he was doing it wrong). However,after importing a couple of discs and going into the gubbins to title them for him,when i clicked back into the library there was no sign of them at all,just vanished. Personaly im not hot on the technical side of this computer music stuff. But it seemed to me that after importing them the software decided nope!. As i say please try to keep it simple so i can print off any replys for him to read.Oh and for me to understand also.

Totaly vanished eddie,well at the very least off itunes. More than likely this dipstick (me) bodged something up,so i will get the discs back off the old boy and try again.
I usually sort by date added when that happens and they should be there and the end.
Also if there's no artist you may have a job finding them (make sure you're looking at all tracks, and not the artists for "blank" or something, thats gotten me on occasion).
the only other thing is if you tagged it as a compilation for any reason it will be hidden under that.
