A dealer told me that Cambridge is coming out with a digital box that will both work with the ipod AND ipad.

Any truth to this?

Yep. I had a beta sample of the iD100 and whilst I didn't try it with an iPad it did come with an iPad dock adapter Smile

RE: MP3/MP4

I had a Cambridge Audio ID100 from Richer Sounds recently (Great service guysSmile) - Unfortunately it had a fault! - With an intermittent cut out of the DAC signal and was hence returned.

What I would say that it was very nicely built and sounded great apart from the intermittent dropped signal with my ipod touch 3g, which made it a no no for me.

I guess I was just unlucky.Cry
