So many meet their other half in pubs, clubs and discos. I never understood why the music has to be so loud, how can you have a decent chat, or is it just an excuse to go cheek to cheek!

I met my wife in the pub, a nice quiet one. I knew she was the one for me when our third or fourth date was to Richer Sounds to audition CDPs. She hardly listens to any music, but she was surprised at the difference in sound between each CDP. The staff at Richer Sounds were excellent, they left us alone and it was an excuse to snuggle up for the first time on the comfy settee! afterwards we went for lunch, talked hifi and held hands for the first time! My wife comes to all auditions as she has better hearing that me and it reminds us of that first date.

I believe that a proper courtship is the way to true love, so take her somewhere beautiful (its air conditioned for added comfort!) Richer Sounds at the corner of Jamica St and Howard St, Glasgow..........................................................

I struggle to get my OH to go in any shops, even when it's her we are buying for she gets bored in about 5 mins (that's not necessarily a bad thing!).ÿ

The thought of cuddling up to her on the sofa at RS doesn't really apply...

Mind you we did have our first snog outside a kebab house on the Essex Road in Islington on the way back from a club.

I now see that shop in a completely new light. Pity the demo rooms are now gone or you could relive the moment every now and then!!!

Thats a shame, no demo rooms, well we will just need to hide behind a big speaker!

Maybe we need a new thread "Joelsim looks like Chris Barrie-Discuss".
Has anyone ever seen them together?

My wife and I went on a day and night away in London without the firstborn to go hifi shopping and have dinner out together. Though we live in London, so it was sort of a 24 hours without the little boy.

Big stack of CDs, 2-3 hours listening, choice made and then walk in the sunshine afterwards.

great fun

Does she have a (single) sister by any chance? Sounds like the perfect woman there (well part of what would be a perfect woman..! ).
