Dunno how it compares to elsewhere, but it's cheap regardless. Just bought S1 for The Wife.... Might buy her S2 if she's lucky.

(I haven't got time to watch it myself but DVD may keep the wife off my back!)
I really enjoy it. More so than Buffy. Buffy was a bit one-trick-pony for me and I never really watched 'Angel' (despite my Wife fancying him). The special FX can be a bit shoddy at times, but other than that I think it's one of the better U.S imports of late.
