Richer Sounds - WHF only price £199 - standard price on their site £249. Good deal with a 160Gig hard drive onboard and a cracker of a review if I remember rightly?

Yep, think so - I noticed John Lewis in Edinburgh (and presumably their other branches too) also have it for the same price. 2 year guarantee as standard on that, not sure what RS offer.

I think the Sony RDR 970 was last years product of the year, it has a 250gb hard drive. I bought mine from Empiredirect.com priced at £229 includind delivery. It's an excellent performer, recordings are great!
