1st Audiovisual are selling the Sony 40W4500 lcd at the moment for £899 Including delivery seems a great bargain, as its not that much more than the 40W4000.

£999 today at local Sony shop with 5 yr warranty. Going back tomorrow with my card unless someone has a better deal?

Found this tv for £868.98, free delivery/ 1years warranty or £945.00 for 5 years warranty at cheapelectricals .co.uk
