Birmingham Sevenoaks closed not too long ago too. Maybe if they had been in a better location they would have fared better.
The best thing about Wolverhampton is its ring-road, because as everything of the slightest significance (and there isn't much to speak of, including the football ground) lies within it, it is possible to bypass everything without stopping.

This seems to be happening with many specialist electronics retailers! The Manager of the W'ton branch told me the shop closing down was due to the internet dominating the market, I personally agree with him as I myself have ordered online and picked up some real bargains but, I also like the appeal of walking into the shop to actually see what I am buying, not having to wait for stock to come in, having a chat with the owner, etc...
According to the Sevenoaks website, there's a closing down sale at the Hull store, too.
