Hi,

I find this site on average to be much cheaper than Amazon for buying classical CDs. They are a specialist site too, so have pretty much everything:

http://www.mdt.co.uk/

For example:

Faure's Nocturnes 1 - 13 by Germaine Thyssens-Valentin (Testament label) is £10.25 on MDT and £15.22 on amazon!

Chris.

I agree that MDT can be considerably cheaper than Amazon and I think it is a good firm for classical music.  However, sometimes it is dearer. Certainly they have good sales from time to time.

I recently bought a series of three NAXOS CDs of Sarasate's violin music.  The first was about £2 cheaper at MDT but the other two about £2 cheaper on Amazon.  Odd.  Best to check on both sites.

Yes it's a good idea to do a bit of homework before making a purchase on either site. I just thought it was nice to finally have a good alternative site to buy my music from! Smile
