The new ps3 adapter has made a harmony remote a lot more attractive...

just need to decide which model! What would people suggest? Is £250 really an acceptable amount to spend on a remote??

I looked at the Harmony 1000, but wasn't that blown away by it. Though it depends if you want to use a touchscreen tablet. They are good, no match for a Pronto. But they cost a least twice the amount!!

I would try one out first before committing to one.

Dear me! That's the first I've heard of the Pronto... looks like something out of MTV Cribs.

I just want a remote that will control my audio/visual equipment - don't need to be able to run the bath remotely! May just go for the Harmony 1, as this seems like the best 'standard' universal remote.

haha yeah If I had the money!!!

Harmony One will please your needs. I want one, just waiting for them to lower in price

£120 is a bit steep, considering they normally sell between £80-100

I have the harmony 895, it's shapped like a remote control, and is compaitable with the RF sender, I don't know if they still sell these, but mine is excellent, have a look.
