Although not a super deal by UK standards, but I think a pretty good deal for us poor folk in the colonies!

I picked up a new Denon DVD-1930 last week! Video Pro are clearing them out to make way for the 1940's.

I got mine for $499 (213 Pounds), the RRP here is $699 (300 Pounds)

I got my 3930 for £550 EX-Demo, now that was a bargain even David Dickenson would have been proud of!

Re: Denon DVD-1930

I've been looking at the 1740 but being drawn towards the 1940. Will be hooking it up to Panasonic 32" LCD HD ready & would not be using it for cd playback. What are the advantages of the 1940 over the 1740 & would I notice the difference ?

You will get a much better picture from the 1940 over the 1740 offering better insight into dark aeras on screen and a better handleing of motion, but if you dont really want to spend that much money try looking at the Samsung HD870 as this give a cracking picture for under £100.Geeked
