Comet - Not A Fire Sale
Sounds like the Best Buy clearance, I went down there on the last day, they had a TV in there at "bargain" prices, I checked online and found it several hundred quid cheaper from numerous outlets!
I picked up a Panasonic DMR-BWT720 for £370 which I was quite happy with.
I was looking to buy a couple of Sonos Play:5 but it was only 10% off those so the voucher for AudioT posted earlier in the week would get those for cheaper.
Was intreesting that some of the staff were *very* helpful, others were just chatting about getting stuff on staff discount and putting things behind the till. When I said excuse me (politely) they turned their back on me and carried on talking. At the end of the day tho they're probably losing their jobs and I was just looking for a bargain so I can understand.
10 per cent off most things and no good stock.
