Christopher Nolan Director's Collection blu ray (including TDK trilogy) £31.94!
Interesting ending!
. A lot happens, think I am going to watch it a few more times this week. That was a lot to take in.
Time for round two I think.
. BB what's your thoughts on the ending?
BB what's your thoughts on the ending?
I thought the ending could've been a bit better. They completely weakened the strong Bane character which was quite odd, especially after successfully instilling fear in the mind of the audience with his ruthlessness. I would've loved to see some more good fist fight.
What did you think?
I' m going to watch TDKR now.
You do realise that the blu ray only officially releases on 3rd December, which makes you amongst the first in the Country to watch it on BD!

I thought we got it a bit early! Love the picture and sound quality! Seen it twice now.

Yeah I don't really know much about the Bane character, apart from what I learnt from the film, and I was surprised by the twist at the end with the lady ( can't remember her name), was the one who rised from the pit as a child and was Ra's Al Gol (don't think I spelt that right) daughter, I thought it was Bane who did that! Is that what happens in the comic?
And the bit with auto pilot on The Bat, I wonder if he did kill himself, or he ejected? And left it on autopilot? My take is he did eject then moved onto his new life, and that Alfred really did see him at the end. But he did not know he was alive until he saw him. Is that your take on it? Then I guess they left room at the end for the cop to become the new batman!
Seen it twice now.
You're almost certainly the first in the Country to watch it twice on BD!
My long reply to your other post disappeared & the forum logged me out!
I'll reply later.

Hate it when it does that! What did your reply say? I am dying to know other peoples take on it. Cheers

I did suspect that the child was not Bane, but did not expect Miranda Tate (Marion Cotillard) to be her! I haven't read the comic. I'll ask my wife, but I don't think this was in the comic.

Yes, Batman didn't die. There are a few theories surrounding the ending:
1) Bruce Wayne retires from being Batman, & the cop takes over.
2) The cop called himself Robin, who is Batman's sidekick. Warner may resurrect Batman with another lead, & the cop continuing to be Robin.

Ah excellent, cheers for that. How did he get away from the Bat then in like 4 seconds? I suppose on that thing anything was possible, so Alfred really did see him?
Yeah I thought that cop might become Robin! Cheers.
I feel another session of TDNR coming on, yep I am going to watch it today again.
Then I am going to watch The Prestige and Memento for the first time.
It cut away before he ejected in the film. It was mentioned an upgrade presumably to get the autopilot working so he could eject hence the ending.
