Arcam AVR 600
Hi,
Got offered one for £2,500 only to have the retailer change their mind 2 weeks later to £3,000. Others have spoke online about getting these for £2,500 and £2,700 BNIB. Does anyone have any further details?

They are running amazing pricess on all other Arcam stuff, like free power amps with processors etc, so they must have a good deal with arcam I'm guessing and therefore must be possible.
Hi Woolyjoe ,who is 'they' the retailer doing deals on Arcam amps and processors as I'm looking to upgrade my stereo set-up soon and like the sound of Arcam 
"they" are other people on Forums. One said he just got the discount because he was an existing customer from his local dealer. I haven't had a response from other people.

I doubt that very much!!
When they were released they were £2750 - maybe then there were some prices of £2500 floating around, but at £3500 now, £2500 just wouldn't be possible. Maybe he still has his first one on demo, which he would've got at a good price, but I doubt it'd be a recent one.
