Amazon.com Black Friday deals' schedule
Damn, I was going to get one of these for £90, was waiting for 8PM to tick over so I could buy it. Hollie is on some new perscription drug thats made her basically stoned. So I got sent to shops for party mix and mint munchies. When I got back the watches were all gone, and I am number 30 in a waiting list hoping for some people to drop out. Boo

Oh good, I did win it afterall

It might come back again, I will keep a look out.
Thanks gel
Yes, last year, a number of deals were repeated.
The offers have been pretty poor so far, IMO.
I normally don't get involved in discussions about tax, etc. but Amazon's policy on the Lightning Deals seems to be that everyone pays the same, even if you're in a VAT free jurisdiction (as I am). So Amazon would be pocketing an extra few quid if I bought anything. I find that a bit sneaky.
I'm sure I'll get over it if anything decent comes up :)
Just got the Prometheus/Alien boxset for £27.99 inc p&p.
As Amazon don't pay corporation tax in this country, personally I won't be buying anything from them.
It's shame because they have always provided good service and competitive prices.
We all have to pay our way, that includes you Amazon!
I agree with you, but unless everyone boycotts Amazon, the only one who suffers is you.
Personally, I'd love the country to unite against these tax avoiders, and even more so against the rip off petrol stations, but it never happens.
The French would have burned the petrol stations down by now.
Sometimes you have to make a stand, if we all take the same attitude nothing will ever change.
There are plenty of alternative companies that pay there way, I have lost nothing, I feel like I've gained.
Are the refunds terms the same on these deals as any regular Amazon item?

Yes. Exactly the same as a normal Amazon purchase.

I decided to boycott them as well. That's at least 2 of us. I bet they're shaking in their boots as we speak.
Harry Potter blu ray boxset deal is starting at 10am, for those who missed it the last time. Also, Sony Internet Player with Google TV will be on offer later.
