Would considering integrating my NAD stereo amp into a 5.1 setup be insane?

What I have* VAC DAC from channel Island* NAD BEE stereo AMP* B&W 602 speakers* Source: Apple tvWhat I want,I would like to add a center channel for watching 5.1 dolby, I dont care too much about reers at the moment just want to add a center channel.So?Would I be getting myself into a mess if I Integrated my existing amp into the 5.1 system, maybe with a preamp, and then getting another amp or mono for the center? My budget is about 300 for the processor, if I go that route, so I also want a reccomendation... Andanyway to integrate by stereo dac into this?
