Which 5.1 system to buy for my Onkyo NR515 recivers 
1.Mordaunt Short Alumni System set 5.1
2.Monitor Audio Vector V10
3.Harman Kardon HKTS 30
4.Wharfedale Diamond 10.0 System Pack 5.1
5.JBL Cinema 500
6.Wharfedale DX-1HCP
Please help with the selection of the week I go shopping. He used them for movies and music, 50/50.
Experts here will ask about room size, layout etc & speaker position & preffered speaker type. They will also advise audition since speakers are personal choice as well as System/room/layout matching. Hope this interim reply helps until the 'big Boys' dive in to help

Have you had a look at the Tannoy HTS101 or HTS201 system? About the same price range as the ones you've selected above and have very good reviews!
Quad L-ite 2 or Q Acoustics or Cambridge Audio s215. Its all personal, you really need to hear for yourself. Mordaunt Short aren't as good an oufit as they used to be

Yr suggestions are not in op. MS are a speaker manfacturer and not an 'outfit'. Agreed listening is a good idea. My sig evidencies my bias and this is all my personal opinion. I know nothing.
