What do you think about Metz Hi-Fi TV glass rack

Great looking stand. Will you be putting a TV on the top or just using it for AV kit?

If TV,  I think the height should be ok when your TV is placed on top. General rules are that the top of the TV should be at eye level when you're sitting down.

I think the weight of your kit shouldn't really exceed 75kg, although it depends on what you plan on putting on it.

I'm going to put TV-set on the top. This is CRT Metz TV-set and his weight is 75 kg. So I am afraid ot this big weight. Is it dangerous for this glass rack? Metz specialist says it is O.K., because this rack is produced for TV's up to 75 kg. But I am afraid of! What do you think about it?

You're best bet is to place the CRT on top of the stand and see how sturdy it feels. If the manufacturer has quoted that it can withstand 75kg, then it most probably can. (it if can't, that would render them liable...) The Glass stands below should be ok for other kit.

If your combined kit exceeds 75KG, then would it cope? Maybe worth an e-mail (so it's in wrtting) to the manufacturer.

Yes, I sent e-mail to manufacturer and Metz says "this glassrack is produced for TV's up to 75 kg" and nothing more. But what about total weight?

If you don't trust it, don't buy it. I've never been keen on getting a rack with glass shelves simply because they don't look strong enough. Maybe they are, but I just don't trust it. (I have an Audio Magic Xenta 4 rack)
