Definitely one of your more enigmatic posts, Chebby! Care to elaborate, or is this merely a glitch thrown up by amendments to the forum?

I don't remember.

Maybe it's an hieroglyph for four snakes looking over a wall.

Nope. Dunno.

Fair enough. Laughing

I thought it might be somehow related to your avatar.

Since I wouldn't question your powers of recall, I'm guessing it's the product of a system bug. There's perhaps a wealth of insight locked inside that symbol...

My new Avatar is a replica of the warrior chieftan's helmet from the Sutton Hoo collection and therefore Anglo-Saxon.

I know they were into snakes as decorative motifs, but I can assure you there is no connection with my strange hieroglyph.

At the time of 'glyphing' I think I still had my old Vulcan B1 avatar.

Bi bi bio bit!

Hi JD, you know you sorted The_Lhc's name out with capitals, could you change mine too "Thegelman", i still want to be called Gel but more as a nickname, with my full name as Thegelman.  Just wanted a full-length name.  People can still refer to me as Gel or Thegelman whatever you prefer. Smile

Cheers JD Wink

Done, with a minor amendment to make sure no-one thinks you're a Mr T Hegelman, Artist Formerly Known As Gel.

I think I prefer Thegelman - sounds like we have a Broadway producer in our midst...

Cheers Andrew, but i would like "Thegelman" not TheGelMan, i don't mind if they think its something else.  I don't like all those capitals, makes it stand out big time - on my name.  Also there is another reason i have changed it, i could not use gel on another website and i just want the keep it the same.  I use Thegelman with my gel avatar on another website because gel would not work - (i think i know why because someone else might have used it) or you might just have to have alot of letters - not entirely sure.

If you could just change it too Thegelman, that would be great, cheers mate.

Cheers JD Smile, i think it is more friendly too, gel i think can be abit blunt but Thegelman i definitely think has a friendly nature too it.  Like i say know gel is stil great, if people want too use it still, does not bother me in the slighest which one people call me.

Cheers

Odd, I think Gel is more informal and friendly, Thegelman is clunky and official sounding.

You do know we're not pronouncing it The Gel Man though don't you?
