Err, if you install ie9 you'll no longer have ie8, so that won't be relevant.

I was going to download I E 9 the other day then i discovered you need Windows 7 or Windows Vista, so i can't see it happening now.  I will certainly not be paying money to insert smiley faces.

Yeah i have done that, and it was working fine, then when i went to insert a smiley face a couple of weeks later, it deleted my entire post, tried it again next time - same again.

look for the word verification thread, it's to try to stop all the spammers, although it doesn't seem to be entirely effective, I noticed one slipped through the other day.

It's learning, and while this site has less of a spam problem than others, the benefits of reducing the amount of offensive posts will outweigh the temporary disadvantages.

Oh yeah, it's heaps better than it was before and obviously it can't do anything about the manual spammers (really, how sad does your life have to be to do that for a living?).

How is it that in "This Shop" section the date is being shown as Fri 20th June 2011?

Because we have discovered this site is a portal to a parallel universe and/or rip in space/time continuum...

But seriously... Linked to the database issues that stick comment dates on time/date a story/review was posted. We have database specialists working on it as we speak.
