AND you can post on iPhone 4 if you 'disable rich text'. Yay!

It wasn't a shadow thread. It was created as two separate threads, one in each section.

My post count seems to have dropped by about 20 from yesterday. Doesn't really matter, but why would that be?

Congrats on getting the new site up and running without all the hoopla that surrounded the previous attempted launch. Well deployed! I see there's an option to reply in either rich text or plain text now so we can get our iOS devices working on our own- is this setting saved to your account or as a cookie on the machine? It'd be nice if it were a cookie as then it could be left on plain text on the iPhone and still default to rich text when posting via puter. Thanks for all the hard work guys!

A known problem: Mr Duncan says mysteriously that the new site 'counts differently'. No, me neither, but it's being looked into as part of the snagging list.

The post-cost change has happened to us all - it's to do with the way the new system categorises posts, we think (eg comments on a news story/review/blog used to add to your post count; now it's Forums only. Possibly)....

I know that bit. I was referring to the possibility of that happening if... oh never mind ,Gel can take over.

Ok it looks like it always defaults to rich text.  That works fine- I can live with one extra button press to reply on iOS, especially as it carries over quotes correctly when switching.  Good work!
