Upgrade DVD, or go HD.....

Should i upgrade my Toshiba SD-330E DVD player for a better DVD player? or Get rid of the DVD player and get an XBOX HD-DVD Player ? Connected to a PHILIPS 32PF9641D/10 with AE Aego surround.

The xbox add on is noisy and some have reported issues with poor playback of certain discs.
I think it would be preferable to go for a standalone dvd player like the Toshiba HD E1 for not much more money than the add on or wait for the EP30/35.
This would then give you the ability to watch hi def at a later date (if you dont wish to do so just now) but, also play your sd dvds very well
Anyone, should i upgrade to the XBOX HD-DVD or just upgrade existing DVD player?
Not seen any reviews on the XBOX HD-DVD ?!
