Taken me three years but I'm buying tomorrow
Hi All. I'm back....PLEASE HELP ME SIT DOWN FOR XMAS!!!
I am so excited I feel like a 10 yr old on Xmas eve. I've been painting/plastering/wiring and knocking holes (in reverse order) in the house for 3 weeks non-stop and I'm finally ready to start fitting. Speaker wires are plumbed in, cat6 outlet is in, sparks is all done, lighting is finished.
I'm off to RS cambridge tomorrow to bag myself the Yam rxv673 and a set of Tannoy HTS101's. I've already got a new BT Vision box waiting to go.
MY PROBLEM:
NEED FLOATING SHELF x4
Found loads but but they are all 36cm deep and the YAM is 36.4 without cables and I'm guessing will be close to 40cm with them in.
So I wanna ask you guys if you use them to recommend. BTW, I am not spending £200 on one shelf. After all, the kids and Mrs are expecting something for xmas!!
Cheers Gents.
t- man -at this rate they'll be standing either side of the tv with an amp and a dvd player in their arms.
Suggest any floating shelf is not man enough nor sonically great. Get a decent stand and a camera.

Give chunky monkey or stump furniture a call they will knock up whatever you need at a good price. As we spreak my av unit is being built by chunky monkey

A shelf each they will have loads of fun trying to guess what they have got for christmas but I would be carefull to keep a safe distance once they have unrapped them as you dont want to be wearing a shelf for a hat
