Hi

we recently had sky HD installed and have since changed where our box and TV is so we have about 4 feet of sky HD cable from satellite in room which is much more than I need. Can I cut both cables shorter and re-attach the connections which go to the box? Any ideas? should I get Sky to do it or is it dead easy and foolproof?!

Thanks

Mark

Re: sky HD cables

Yes you can cut off the excess coax then reconect the connectors to the coax and it is not something you need SKY to come and do for you. In my house where the 2 coax feeds come into the house through the wall I have cut the cables and installed a neat wall socket so if ever I decide to move any equipment i simply change the coax from the socket onwards.Geeked
