Replacing Tag McLaren Kit
Hi ellisdj,
Thanks for this vids, your treatments look great, and I bet your system sounds great too - a video camera recording played back on my iPad is never going to do it justice. It's great to see someone actually realising that treating their room is as important a part of the system as any piece of equipment.
Out of interest, what audible differences did you notice after putting your panels up?

You asked for some pics of my acoustic treatment - I have tried to go one better and shot some videos of my system playing.
On one I have panned left and right to show the acoustic panels and talk a bit about them
Now the videos obviously dont do the system anything like full justice in terms of sound, just trying to give an idea.
And the quality will also obviously depend on what you play it back through - my pc has a decent souncard with upgraded opamp going into a Graham Slee Novo - by comparison to that if you play it back on laoptop speakers its not going to give you the same reflection of roughly how it sounds to me. Plus I know how it sounds as well
I think its worth watching a couple of the vids before making a conlcusion as the Adele does sound thin and hollow - but thats a combination of the camera / the song itself. The Cam picks a lot of the sound up but there is no layering / space like you get when you sit here and listen and there is no bass weight at all and I have a lot of bass
