RE: Remember when..........

We could not afford a VHS we rented it from Radio Rentals., does anyone remember Philips 2000 that was even more of a flop than betamax.

As for Hi Fi in the late '70's I started of with a Bush music centre, then saved up bought a sony turntable, a sansui cassette deck, a Nad amp mission 700 speakers, then Ion Obelisk xpak with a Linn Sondeck ( a second hand one from '78) then I got married the ions are in the attic and I am waiting to upgrade my Denon 2901 and Kefs.

Remember it?! I had one. Fab machine, only one at the time that could do 'go to'. Reversible tapes, built like a brick outhouse. Like Betamax, it was technically superior to VHS but lost the war
