pioneer sc-lx71

hi guys

can anyone help ?

i have just set my pioneer sc-lx71,  during watching t.v or listening to music the the screen goes blank and flickers quite quick to the station i was watching showing just glimpses, to rectify this i have to turn the amp off then back on, then this may not happen for another 2-3 hours, i have a good 1" clearance between the amp and the bluray sitting on top.

any suggestions ???
