onkyo sr605 superb amp highly recommended anyone else think the same?

wasnt planning to get onkyo amp till summer but couldnt wait amazing sound through my toshiba hd-ep35 player far superior than my pioneer vsx-d2011 thx which is a great amp in its day will be fine tuning it today any settings that will improve the sound even further only just set it up a few hours ago?
