New home cinema system

Looking at putting a 2.1 system in lounge don't want to much clutter have seen the denon cara for a good price and was wondering what speakers and sub to go for, thinking of Boston sound ware 2.1 or Cambridge minx as these look quite compact. Have also looked at the bose 235 but put of by price and no proper reviews.
