As reported on another AV site:

The company's next venture is a small but high-end speaker solution, which has got Haikin excited.

"We're launching a new speaker on June 6 which I think is the freshest thing we've made for years," he said.

"It's really small and quite expensive but sounds incredibly good."

No. I think we'll have to wait until June 6

If there'd been any facts worth noting - and certainly if there were pics and prices - we'd have written a news story...

When we have that extra info, we'll do just that!

All that work B&W's engineering team does, and it's still 'a British technology brand which resonates globally'. But at least it's 'an enduringly familiar site in the world’s audiovisual magazines'.

Well. not really, you'll find a US dealer leaflet from February saying that later in the year the B&W Prestige Monitor PM1 will be making its world debut alongside designer Dr John Dibb.

Still doesn't tell us anything more about the forthcoming launch....

I found a 'briefing report' in pdf with pictures and full specifications but it's not my intention to spoil B&W's launch anyhow

Yes, we've found that too. Checking validity before we publish further Smile

Seen the speakers on a couple of foreign sites believe it or not (translated in Google). The images looks genuine to me but you never know. Design wise they look nice, but i think the MA Apex looks better IMO.

You can also pre-order the speakers from a French Online store (not sure if i should post the URL? Might be naughty if i did). The speakers will be release June 2011 it says on the site.

Think pretty soon that 'you can' will turn into 'you could' – some Gallic gun-jumpage seems to have taken place, and B&W is doing some rectification behind the scenes.

RE: Home cinema

Indeed B&W has just discovered the French have been a little previous in their announcements and the information's being removed Surprised

Still, they looked interesting Laughing

And we've been promised the exclusive review of the speakers when they are - officially - launched next month.
