Just to let you know your post is in the wrong area.

This is Hifi, needs to be in Home Cinema.

Cheers.

If you are going the KEF route, I would try and find some Dipole rear speakers. The old KEFs were one of the few that had full THX Select and Ultra. They were designed specifically for the job, rather than adapted from front speakers. I'm a KEF fan, but others to consider would be the Dali Zensor 5 series, the Monitor Audio Apex or, top of the tree, Bowers & Wilkins CM9. Not sure what country you are in, so not sure of availability and back up.

RE: Need help with equipment upgrade

I have just got a new Genie 1.3 to replace my old trusted Revolver. However I have also just been given a Systemdex IIX from a frens attic. Have played it-without grounding wire-missing -& sounds great! the arm is loose & have done some research & discovered it is a Origin live OL-1 arm.

What would give me best results here? Restore Systemdex? Upgrade the Genie with the Origin Live arm? + how difficult would this be to do-am very handy!

Would be very grateful for any suggestions & tips!-forgot-am running from an old yamaha Amp, Denon tape, denon tuner, Denon Cd player+ a Pioneer CR-r  + Warfdale speakers.

Many thanks
