I'm going to buy a MT60D and a Onkyo AV could you advise me on the model that would best suite this set up

Agreed. The Onkyo 818 will be the most ideal Onkyo for the MT60 package, but I'd also consider the Pioneer SCLX56.

I feel that you should also consider pairing the M60D with either Yamaha's Aventage RX-A1020, Anthem's MRX 300 or (while still available) Yamaha's Aventage RX-A2010 and RX-A3010 AV receivers.
