The new 5.1 systems, dubbed R90HD12 (£1675) and R270HD12 (£1975), are designed to integrate with the AW-12, extending the systems' low-frequency response to below 20Hz.
MA's subwoofer uses a front-firing 12in C-CAM driver and a 500W Class D amplifier, and is available in gloss black or white "metal-flecked" lacquers to match the rest of the RadiusHD speaker range.
The R90HD12 package combines the AW-12 with four compact R90HD satellites and a R180HD centre channel speaker.
The R270HD set-up, configured for larger spaces, teams the AW-12 with a pair of floorstanding R270HD speakers, a pair of R90HD satellites for the rear channels and a slim R225HD as the centre speaker.
Both speaker systems will be available to buy in June 2009.
