I'm considering buying the 180 HD for center speaker duties with the RX6 as fronts and R90 HD as rears. Is the centre a good choice with the RX6?

If you really have to go with a Raduis centre, I'd go with the R225 or R250, but really would recommend sticking with the RX centre if you can get away with it. The R90's will be fine for the rear speakers - just make sure you cross them over at the 80Hz crossover point - or 100Hz if you like high volumes.

RE: Monitor Audio RX6 and Radius HD Combo

Thanks David. Really stuck on a receiver now. I have a Yamaha DSPAX763 and the fronts are powered by a stereo amp. I want something slim (with pre-outs) which led me to the Marantz NR1403/1603. The AV will only be powering the centre and rears hence something slim but I don't know if this is a wise choice or shall I just stick with the yammy? This is on the assumption I'll have an RX centre and R90 rears.
