One would have thought they have done it enough already!
I saw a lot of info on this yesterday gel, I know it's been in the works for some time and was originally set to be released next summer but was delayed as Universal decided the script needed more work and casting took longer than expected, it didn't help the Spielberg passed on directing it and so Colin Trevorrow was hired to direct it.
Rumours persist that this one will feature water based Dinosaurs and that it's set in a park that has been established for many years but that's just rumours, not sure a 4th one is such a good idea though as Jurassic Park 3 was pretty lacklustre in my opinion but with the advances in CGI since then you can guarantee it will look great.

I have to admit I did buy the Blu-ray trilogy but have only watched the first one, after then it went downhill for me.
Yep me too. I even bought the rather lovely limited edition with the T-Rex statue for a bargain £14.99 but have still only watched the first one as the sequels were rubbish, the second one isn't too bad I suppose but the third one is a disaster and not worth watching but they definately take a nose dive after the first one.
Here's hoping a reboot (notice there is no 4 in the title) will breathe new life into it as the first remains a great popcorn movie even today.
Yep me too.
As did I, to my annoyance, if I'd waited another two months then I could have bought the original as a single disc, grrrr! If I've played discs two and three, it can be only once each.

Summer 2015??? If you can see film releases almost two years into the future, you must have crystal balls ....
He is right. That's what the studios have announced.

In that case I stand corrected , and apologies to theflyingwasp, who clearly has his finger on the contemporary pulse better than I do! As do you also bigboss, but then, you're a doctor!
Do you think we'll get any non-sequels in 2015?
HiFi / A/V / Bedroom
Oh yes, I'm sure there will be non-sequels, & beginning of trilogies etc. But as no one knows what to expect of them, they don't get reported as much.
Don't worry Ben, I think there are some prequels planned.

Don't forget remakes and reboots. They're just as agonising to sit through.
The 2013 Carrie adaptation threatens to be particularly disappointing and will no doubt spoil my enjoyment of a 1970s horror classic.

Just close your eyes & ears, pretend its not happening and treat yourself to reading the book again. Don't think any of the films made of Stephen King books have measured up to the books themselves (with the probable exception of 'Misery').
Think 'the amazing Spider-Man 2' is also due in 2015. Big yawn...

movie studio's are suffering from the same illness that modern rap music did in that theres a complete lack of imagination in creating new content ..... rap music turned to using samples of 80's and 90's music and now movies also are just mostly sequels prequels and reboots ..... and its very rare to get a completely original plot or a story that wasnt a book before
