Home Theatre and Audio Hell

Agggghhhh

Over the past 6 months I have been building a new house and would dearly love to install a very good home theatre/audio system on the budget side.

Up stairs I have a dedicated home cinema room with wiring for 6.1 and a projector and in the large living room I have wiring for 6.1 to be used with my plasma. I would like a system that will be good for theatre and audio. small overhard mounted speaker are a must due to the floor lay out.

Ideally all will be able to access music and video from my computer hard drive and other centraly located DVD and CD devices.

I have wired the bed rooms down stairs as well that I would like to get music to as well for the same pc hard drive

Any ideas on the best gear to work all the wiring on a budget, as my cable guys is not a trustable as I thought when I got him in, and I think I may be lead down a garden path so to speak.
