Hi
I have recently had my house re-wired and have got the electrician to put in speakers in 4 of my rooms ceilings.
He has run them all back to one spot where I plan to put in a system that allows me to control music in the different rooms.
Budget is tight so was thinking of getting an amp and manual switch then an apple airport express so I can control the music played from my iPhone/iPad.
Does anyone else have a similar setup and has any advice?
What are my different options?

Hi,
If your budget is low, you can try to use wall potentiometer to change the volume in each room.Problem is that you can listen to only thesame signal in whole house and this is just half-multiroom system.It is cheap solution and it works. I think that you can find this type of potentiometer in Russound.
